FileMaker have recently released the latest version of FileMaker, FileMaker Pro 8.
FileMaker Pro 8 uses the same file format as FileMaker Pro 7 but there are numerous new features.
These features include things such as the ability to very swiftly export a file from the database, as a PDF or even an Excel document and email this within seconds. Another useful new feature is the ability to put pop up text over buttons on the database so that users can read what that button does before clicking it!
All of Cruse Control's current products ship with FileMaker Pro 8 and we have made use of several of these new features. They will also run in FileMaker Pro 7, but are not compatible with anything before this.
Previous versions of our products, such as CONTACTS! v2 and WorkflowPLUS! v2, are still available and can run in FileMaker Pro 5.5 all the way up to FileMaker Pro 8.
