Client work · Design
Design was there before the databases.
Cruse Control's roots are in graphic design. That background still matters: it shaped the way the company thinks about presentation, usability and workflow — and ultimately helped lead to products such as WorkflowPLUS!.

A small piece of the archive
The original version of this page showed a simple three-page roll-fold leaflet produced for AquaSource, distributors of Klamath Lake Algae. Rather than replace that historical example with generic contemporary imagery, it remains here as an authentic piece of Cruse Control's design work.
From studio to system
WorkflowPLUS! grew out of production experience.
The original page described WorkflowPLUS! as having been developed through Cruse Control's extensive graphic-design studio experience. That connection is worth preserving.
Managing design work means tracking jobs, deadlines, costs, freelancers, production stages and invoicing. Those practical requirements became part of the thinking behind WorkflowPLUS!, which subsequently evolved for use by a much wider range of organisations.
Design thinking still has a place
Cruse Control's current focus is business systems and FileMaker development, but its broader design background remains relevant wherever a system needs to present complex information clearly or fit naturally into the way people work.
The historical design work is therefore retained as part of the company story rather than promoted as a large standalone design agency service.
Part of the Cruse Control archive
The original design page also linked to older web, Quark, PowerPoint and Word services. Those references have not been carried forward as prominent current offerings here. The surviving design material is presented instead for what it now most usefully provides: evidence of the company's visual and production heritage.
